27 May 2009 By parkygolfer Now, I played a little when i was younger but never touched a driver and didnt take it further than the odd par 3 course. Decided to take up the beautiful game a couple of months ago so bought myself a cheap set of dunlop clubs in case I didn't continue ( I didnt want to spend a fortune if it was just a fad). I got on fine with the irons, but i have never been able to hit a driver at all and the driver of this set was no different. In fact the trials I had with it actually messed me up with all of my game. I decided to splash out on this club on the recommedation of my local pro (who told me to chuck the dunlop in the skip!). I went from not being able to hit a driver at all, and what i did hit was a nasty slice, to within 10 minutes cracking it 270 yards dead straight!!! Now I'm not saying that this driver has turned me into Bubba Watson, but its made me realise that a quality club makes such a difference.

Its allowed me to swing much more naturally just by being perfectly balanced and suited to me. And the best bit? After I bought the club, the pro shop owner who sold the club to me said that apart from the colour there is not much between this and the latest Cobra.
